"My Bride": A Journey Through Love and Passion

My great-grandparents, both in their late 90s, are the definition of true love. Even now, my Bumpa still calls my Mamma his bride. That's the kind of love I want to talk about on my blog.

I wanted to be a nurse, so I graduated high school early, juggling day and night school to earn my Licensed Nursing Assistant certification. While working as a licensed nursing assistant in high school, I had an unforgettable memory with a non-verbal resident who looked at me, smiled, and mumbled, "you are just so beautiful." Words like "you are just so beautiful" or "my bride" are powerful forms of affirmation. They remind your partner how much they mean to you. Being your partner's biggest fan and giving them positive and powerful encouragement can really help them grow.

After COVID, I started working at Stonehurst Manor in North Conway. That's where I started my love story. During that tough time, I really worked on myself and figured out who I want to be and what I want to portray to the world. I created this business because I have goals for myself. I've always wanted to be financially independent and an entrepreneur. You need to believe in yourself first. Working in a hotel became my passion. I’ve watched so many love stories unfold on one of their biggest days. I fell in love with wedding days—the day is full of love and laughter.

My big dream is to write my own book and become a New York Times best-selling author. I want to get to know my clients and their love stories. You never stop learning, and each love story teaches me something new about the complexities and beauty of relationships.

I've always admired the love stories of the older generation, like my great-grandparents who, even in their late 90s, hold each other dear. This inspired me to delve deeper into what makes love last. Working at the manor, I made it a point to ask the older couples, "What's your secret?" Their answers ranged from hilarious to deeply insightful, but they all shared one common thread: the importance of understanding and practicing the five love languages.

These love languages—words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch—are crucial to building a strong, lasting relationship. Each one plays a unique role in how we express and receive love. For example, words of affirmation can uplift and encourage your partner, reminding them of their worth and the love you share.

My journey has taught me that love is not always sunshine and rainbows. It takes blood, sweat, and tears. But through it all, I've learned that love is worth the effort. I want to share the wisdom I've gained from my clients and their love stories, and I believe that you never stop learning about love.

So, join me on this journey as we explore the beauty and complexity of love together. Let's celebrate the highs and navigate the lows, and most importantly, let's learn how to love one another better.
